“We managed to do something very important, which was to take emotional control of the game. At the end of the first half, the opposing team was making a lot of bad passes, the opposing team and the spectators were angry. We went into the break with this emotional control. We knew we couldn’t count on that. The first message we gave to the players was that we had to enter the game with a lot of strength, especially in the first 15 minutes, to take advantage of the moment, as we had done at the end of the first half. It is true that one or two players had a little difficulty, I wouldn’t say physically, but they felt a lack of energy. Our opponents took advantage of that and did it very well. A situation with Vegetti, not on the first ball, where he provided the assist for the first goal, because he is a difficult player even when he is marked. But it was a mistake that led to the second ball. And then, on the free kick, where we really had a man to mark, and a player of Vegetti’s quality cannot just stand still in the penalty area like he did“.
